Name: Elizabeth Earl Title: Market Director of the Dakotas Organization: Pepsi Beverages Company Elizabeth Earl serves PepsiCo as Market Director of the Dakotas. Born and raised in Kansas City, she was recruited by the Pepsi Beverages Company while working in the Sales & Marketing department for the Kansas City Chiefs football team. After serving in a variety of roles and assuming a number of sales responsibilities, Elizabeth now leads the team in Fargo, ND. We asked Earl about her perceptions of The Center for Professional Selling and Sales Technology at NDSU. Why do you invest your time in the Center for Professional Selling and Sales Technology? The Center for Selling and Sales Technology is Best in Class for student development and leadership. The curriculum provides critical experiences preparing students for entrance in to the workforce and sets them far above their competition. Pepsi’s partnership with NDSU and the Sales Program extends well beyond the time spent on campus. We have recruited over a dozen future leaders of PepsiCo from NDSU’s Center for Professional Selling and Sales Technology. Your impressions? The curriculum is extremely advanced and well developed and dedicated to building the sales skills and capabilities of its students. The program offers a pipeline of talent that far exceeds other universities and programs. Year after year, NDSU students rank in the top tier of all Midwest student applicants for Pepsi Beverages Campus Hire program. Maintaining Close Contact With Industry: New Young Sales Professionals Advisory Board (YSPAB) Initated The YSPAB is comprised of selected young sales professionals that experienced the NDSU sales program and/or the sales curriculum and demonstrated a passion and interest in the Center for Professional Selling and Sales Technology and its continued success. This collaborative, positive group of young sales professionals will team with the Center for Professional Selling and Sales Technology to continuously enhance the Center and its students through curriculum, research, activities, expertise, and investment.
